The Situation. For the past 6 months, I have been lost. Me, a driven type-A personality, with a successful career, in a great relationship. What was wrong? I read somewhere that mid-life crisis occur at 40, plus or minus 20 years. The crisis often makes people do “crazy” things”: buy a Harley Davidson or a sports car, have an affair (with a younger person is even crazier), go travel the world, quit their job, … Being the overachiever that I am, I decided to start a blog.
This Site. This blog will not bore you with a blow-by-blow description of my life. Rather, I will explore how getting older is changing who I am. Look at what “the experts” are saying on the subject, what other people have done to deal with getting older (midlife crisis anyone?), and what crazy things I may be doing from time to time (anyone has a resignation letter handy?).
My Cat. I have a cat named Sam. He is a great source of inspiration. Going through life without a care in the world, sleeping, playing, eating, sleeping, running, sleeping, and sleeping some more. From time to time you will hear about him.
